Gammons has volunteered with the Idignity organization since its inception in 2008 and served on the Board of Directors of since 2010. Idignity is a local non-profit that has taken the task of identification and made it a front page issue. This increased interest and awareness led him to volunteer through his work with IDignity.

Gammons is a strong believer in giving back to the community. Gammons has always believed that family ties and a strong family dynamic are a springboard for success. Gammons youngest sibling, his sister, is currently a junior at FSU. He went on to attend Florida State University earning a bachelors and a masters degree as well as a commission as a military officer.

His parents, despite growing up poor, always stressed the importance of education to him and his younger siblings. High School in June of 1997. Upon his graduation from High school, Anton enlisted in the United States Navy. In 1990, he and his family relocated to Clearwater, Florida and he later went on to graduate from Pinellas Park Sr. Gammons was born in Cheverly, Maryland and lived there until the age of 11.
